Google OAuth Scopes & Google Meet / Calendar Data

When you connect your Google account to CareerLama (for scheduling interviews, syncing availability, or inserting meeting links), we request the following Google OAuth scopes:

• Calendar (full/manage access): https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar
• Calendar events (manage event data): https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events
• Calendar events (read-only, if applicable): https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.readonly
• Basic profile / email: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email

Note: We do not request a separate Google Meet-specific scope. Google Meet join links and meeting metadata are provided as part of calendar events and are accessed only if you grant the calendar scopes above.

The calendar and meeting data we may access includes, for example: event titles, descriptions, attendee lists, meeting links (e.g., Google Meet URLs), timestamps, locations, reminders, and attachments. We use this data only to:

• Schedule and manage interviews and meetings on your behalf.
• Insert meeting join links into invitations and candidate communications.
• Synchronize availability and send reminders.

We will not use Google Calendar or meeting data for purposes beyond those described here. You can revoke CareerLama's access at any time via your Google Account (Security → Third‑party apps with account access). If you revoke access, synced features will stop functioning.
